Executive Summary

An Overview of Astrobiology at Arizona State

During our five years as an NAI charter member, Arizona State University sponsored a broadly based program of research and training in Astrobiology to address the origin, evolution and distribution of life in the Solar System. The following paragraphs provide an overview of the specific research areas pursued by the Arizona State University (ASU) Astrobiology team during Year 5. With such a large and diverse team, it is not possible in the space available to cover all details of the research progress made during the past year.
