Logistics

Accommodations can be set up through UIMP.

Palace of the Magdalena

Double room-limited availability (27€ per person per night)

College Residences

Double Room (18€ per person per night)
Single Room (24€ per night)

Meals

There are two options: either arrange to buy a meal plan through the UIMP for the duration of the course, or pay for each meal separately. The cost is no different. There are cafeterias in the Palacio de Magdalena, the Palacio de Caballerizas, and in the residence halls. Most of the meals will be taken in these places. Students also have the option of walking into the center of Santander to local restaurants.

Travel

Travel to Santander can be accomplished by many means. The cheapest mode is by air to Madrid and then by train or bus to Santander. It will take about 6 hours by train or bus. The trains run 2-3 times per day and the cost is 33€ one-way. Buses run many times per day and cost 23€ one-way. You may also fly from Madrid to Santander on Iberia Air but the cost is much higher. Check the Iberia site for current rates.

Local transportation is minimum as the course will be in walking distance of the course accommodations.
